About Women's Health Care - Tampa

Women's Health Care was started with two certified nurse midwives who had a vision to provide the women of our community with a more active role in their own health-care. As time went by, and the women in the Tampa Bay area found us, WHC has grown to 13 CNMs. Our most recent expansion was in the latter part of 1999 and included the hiring of our own physicians. We felt that this was the best way to provide the complete package of obstetrical and gynecological care to our patients.

As always the CNMs and physicians are credentialed providers on most health-care plans including Medicaid. If you have any questions regarding coverage by your insurance, please give us a call at (813) 258-3309.
